2023 ASCE Golf Outing

On Friday August 11, 2023, AR Engineering participated in the ASCE Annual Golf Outing at the Lynx Golf Club in Otsego, Michigan. The team consisted of Andrew Woloszyk, Emily Grunewald, Spencer O’Dell and Whitney Pizzala. This outing is held annually to raise money for ASCE student scholarships, and AR Engineering was excited to participate in this fun event to help a great cause.

Congratulations to Carolyn Kurtz!

The team at AR Engineering recently celebrated, as Carolyn Kurtz passed the PE exam! We surprised Carolyn with a few of her favorite items, including a breakfast bar in the morning. Her husband made a surprise visit in the afternoon and everyone snacked on her favorite candy (Peanut M&Ms) and her favorite dessert (chocolate chip cookies). She was given a gift certificate that she can hopefully enjoy sometime later this summer when she spends a day near the beach. Congratulations to Carolyn on this huge accomplishment!

Authentix Kalamazoo - Multi-Family Development

AR Engineering had the opportunity to partner with Continental Properties to bring their residential development to Kalamazoo, Michigan. AR Engineering provided surveying, civil design, inspection, and staking services. Authentix Kalamazoo will be a 240-unit multi-family development that will have a dog park, pet spa, maintenance garage, resort style swimming pool, and a 24 hour fitness center. Each building will contain studio units, as well as one, two, and three bedroom options. Located only a few minutes from downtown Kalamazoo and adjacent to I-94, this 20-acre development will provide residents easy access to all of the major businesses in the area. Continental Properties continuously works to improve their developments by updating their properties, as the dynamic of the resident changes. We cannot wait to see what else Continental brings to the Kalamazoo area!

Nuway Golf Outing

AR Engineering joined Nuway Construction at their second annual charity golf outing for The Post Youth Center of Goshen, Indiana on June 7th. We were excited to participate in the fun, and proud to support the center that provides a welcoming place for the youth of the community. The team consisted of Whitney Pizzala and Jason Raleigh of AR Engineering, and Tim Wall and John Skopec of Nuway Construction. We are looking forward to next year’s event!
