CAD Technician

Summary

AR Engineering, Kalamazoo, MI, has an immediate full-time opening for a CAD technician.  This role includes CAD and engineering support to our civil engineering and survey team members.  You will be responsible for generating survey documents (easement, boundary, topographic, ALTA, and condominium/plat drawings) and engineering documents (preliminary, construction, and record plans).  You will be an essential member of the design team and deliverable to our clients.

Qualifications

1)      High School Diploma or GED equivalent
2)      College or training courses in CAD or associates degree in CAD preferred
3)      5+ years of AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
4)      Experience with CAD design for commercial, municipal, industrial, and residential projects
5)      Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
6)      Professional behavior and communication
7)      Strong mathematic aptitude
8)      Detail oriented
9)      Strong work ethic

Admin Assistant

Summary

AR Engineering, Kalamazoo, MI, has an immediate full-time (32-40 hours) opening for an administrative assistant.  This role will include administrative tasks such as filing, letter and report writing, and accounting support including accounts payables/receivables.  The candidate will be required to serve our Kalamazoo office two days a week and our Grand Haven office two days a week.

1)      High School Diploma or GED equivalent
2)      College or training courses in accounting preferred
3)      Accounting and bookkeeping experience
4)      Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite & QuickBooks
