NAWIC Boys and Girls Club Tour - Kalamazoo, Michigan
Two members of the AR Engineering team recently attended a construction site visit hosted by NAWIC at the new Boys and Girls Club building in Kalamazoo, MI. The visit provided an opportunity to see the progress of the project firsthand and learn more about the planning, coordination, and construction efforts behind the new facility. Attendees were able to walk through the site, observe different stages of the build, and hear from project leaders about the work being done to create a space that will serve local youth and families. It was also inspiring to see how many women are involved in the project, from planning and management to work happening directly on site. It was a great opportunity to connect with other professionals in the industry while gaining insight into a project that will have a meaningful impact on the community.

What an unforgettable evening at the 2026 ACEC Engineering & Surveying Excellence Gala held at the graceful Fillmore in Detroit, Michigan. The event brought together top minds in engineering and surveying to honor innovation, excellence, and the next generation of professionals. Andrew had the distinct pleasure of presenting $32,000 in scholarships to deserving students pursuing careers in civil engineering and surveying. These awards recognize not just academic achievement, but passion, leadership, and a commitment to shaping sustainable infrastructure. At AR Engineering, we're all about building community - literal and figurative. Events like the ACEC Gala remind us that true excellence comes from lifting others up.
